Woodlawn Mechanical Contractors, Inc.

Woodlawn Mechanical, Inc. is a family owned and operated company established in 1976 by William L. Ray. For many years, William managed the role of estimating, purchasing, and project managing – all while being a husband and a father to three sons. In addition, William remained focused at ensuring the growth and development of Woodlawn Mechanical. Presently two of Williams’s sons and grandsons see to the day to day operation.

Safety at Woodlawn

Woodlawn Mechanical’s EMR rating is one of the lowest in the mechanical industry.

Providing a safe working environment is the highest priority at Woodlawn Mechanical, and has been since the company was founded in 1976. At Woodlawn Mechanical, safety and health are fundamental to our success as a company. It is imperative that our team members return home safely each and every day. To attain this goal, weekly and monthly safety training is provided and a rigid safety program is in place that is supported by all levels of management. We also employ a full-time safety manager who coordinates the safety programs and trainings.

Woodlawn Mechanical, Inc. believes the best way to provide a safe project site and a quality product is through an educated work force. That’s why many of Woodlawn’s workforces have the OSHA 10/30 with a full time safety person visiting our jobsites.
